LB Chris Spielman (2x All-American, 4x Pro Bowl, 3x All-Pro, CFB HOF)

I think everyone on this board agrees with Chris Spielman based on the assumption of more stuff comes out he his gone.

If more stuff doesn't come out...then I would disagree that he should be gone. Spiels seems to take his position based on the assumption that more is coming out. He is more "in the know" than me so you have to take what he says at face value.

It is sad that our fan base would be sending a Buckeye threatening emails based off of what he said above. It's kind of embarrassing top to bottom right now. What an offseason.

Ryan Hamby got death threats for dropping a single pass. There are dumbfuck assholes (who I refuse to call fans) for every program with such a passionate base...it is just coming to light more now because of all that's gone on.

Chris Spielman speaks in the US Bank Conference Theater at the Ohio Union on Tuesday.

As the all-time leading solo tackler in Ohio State history, former Buckeye Chris Spielman was accustomed to hearing the crowd roar after each hit. When Spielman tackled the issue of abortion on Tuesday night, however, you could hear a pin drop in the U.S. Bank Conference Theater at the Ohio Union.

The two-time All-American linebacker was the main speaker at the Pro-Life Day event, along with other pro-life advocates from Ohio. The Ohio Right to Life, Ohio State Pro-Life Club and OSU College Republicans sponsored the event.

Spielman said he has always been pro-life, and that his faith has helped guide that position.

"I believe that all life begins at conception, and that every life is sacred," Spielman told The Lantern before the event. "That doesn't mean I don't sympathize with those who have to make agonizing decisions, but I just believe that each life has meaning and that no life is an accident."

I would love to see Spiels get a shot at coaching somewhere on the defensive side of the ball in the new regime. When every door closes a window opens right?

Love and respect the hell out of Chris Spielman and I firmly believe he has a lot to teach the young men coming to Ohio State.

I think he was on 97.1 today talking about coaching. I guess the Dispatch ran a poll about who should get the coaching job and he got 20% of the vote. Did anyone hear what he had to say?

Head coach might be a bit too premature. He's been out of it for a little while even though he's been announcing. I would think a position coaching spot or even a coordinating one would be the best way to get him back in at first. I just really want to see him don the Scarlet & Gray again in some capacity.

I definitely agree, and I think he probably would too. Was just curious what his thoughts were on him being a coach in some capacity.
