LaTwan Anderson (official thread)

couldn't he just take hicks spot?

That depends on how many spots one thinks is left it this class. I am not sure there was a "Hicks' spot", since most people believed that Texas was his leader throughout.

Presuming that the number is 20, you have two spots left. IMO, James is likely South Bend bound, and Brown is 50/50, so Henderson and Moses are the best bets to fill the class, and I think they're the top two targets. Is there room for a 21st? I'm more apt to think that Anderson would get back in at the very last minute if Henderson opts for ND or USC, so if OSU is still interested at all, it's going to be a signing day thing. There may be a few phone calls going back and forth between Glenville and the WHAC.

Agreed. Cut him loose later if he partakes in shenanigans (or is as much of a prima donna as he's appeared to be) while he's here.

too much talent not to take him esp with Hicks off the board. i think everyone on his side wants to be a buckeye....hope it gets done

Hopefully he changes his mind!!:osu:

He had his chance to pick Ohio State when he instead picked WVU on national TV. Take the kids who want to be Buckeyes.

And also I should say, if he's trying to get in this class... then he obviously wants to be a Buckeye, if not then he'd take his USC trip or head to Morgantown or Ann Arbor or wherever. No need to to hold grudges, they're just kids.

Obviously he didn't want to be Buckeye else he would've put on an OSU hat instead of a WVU one, and we wouldn't be having this discussion, now would we?. Holding a kid accountable for his choices isn't "holding a grudge".

it was probably the biggest decision he has ever had to make, maybe he just was not shure at the time.

Then maybe he shouldn't have made it. :roll1:

Nobody held a gun to his head to make his announcement. No, he instead put more importance in getting his 30 seconds on national TV over delaying his annoucement to make sure he made the best possible decision for him. He had a full month left before NLOID to ensure he had properly weighed the pros and cons of each school and where he truly wanted to play.

Obviously, he does now, if the rumors are true, and luckily the only thing that means anything is that piece of paper you sign on Feb 3rd. And since that "hat incident" OSU has kept in touch with him, so apparently they weren't SO offended by that. Holding a kid accountable is sending them to jail if they commit murder, no need to take this so serious, because it comes across like a grudge.
