As for the movie, I bought my dad a HDTV, DVD player, and multiple movies (had to move him out of the 80's tech). This was the first one we watched. Nothing like a war movie for father/son bonding.
Next on deck: Either The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly or a movie he never saw...The Departed (despite the fact I hate the ending). It will be a movie marathon week with some bowl games thrown in on the side. Gonna be a good holiday season.
