Some random guy comes out of no where and kills Leanardo's character. Seems like Scorcese couldn't think of a way to kill him, and just had some guy (who had no character development) show up and kill him. If he spent a little time on character development with him it would have been much better.

For me, it just seemed like "sure, everybody kills everyone else, all die in the last five minutes." It was a little over-the-top, in my opinion. I thought the film would have been better without that.

Most loved it though, and that's cool.

It wasn't some random guy. It was Mark Whalberg's character who had figured out that Matt Damon's character was a fraud. It was revenge. Was it the most creative ending? No, but it certainly made sense and fit the context of the story.

I'll owe up to being one of the few who did.

Loved the arcade game too.

Of course I expect a Tron remake to be forthcoming.

Well yeah I saw it in the theater too, but it sure as hell wasn't the last movie I've seen.

Different character. scott91575 was referring to the elevator scene where Billy is shot while attempting to arrest Sullivan.

Costigan (DiCaprio) was shot by one of the cops from Sullivan's (Damon's) team. He then told Sullivan that he was also a mole working for Costello (Nicholson).

Thanks, that makes more sense.

If were talking about that scene, I pretty much agree. It definitely could've been better.

EDIT- My reading comprehension sucks. He even said it was the scene where DiCaprio was killed. My bad. :)
