She's a little rough around the edges for me.

First time seeing Natalie Martinez (Pena's character's wife), she's a cutie too. The white young cop also, though she looks like a giant next to America Ferrera.

I thought Gyllenhaal and Pena had a natural bromance that translated well over to screen. A lot of stereotypical comments, but that's what 20-something guys do in all walks of life.

The Hunger Games.

Never read the book, and knew little about it before watching it. Was entertaining, but seemed to drag a bit in parts. IMO, could have been a better movie with about 20 mins cut out.

I read a well-known movie reviewer's column on Adam Sandler movies, basically saying that Sandler is insulting the intelligence of the movie-going public with the films he's releasing these days.

The columnists said that films were just recycled over-and-over again (which I somewhat agree with).

But that "recycled" statement could also be used with any Jennifer Anniston or Katherine Heigl film (in terms of their characters).

They've made 5 total...so really, they are not only stupid enough to go in a circle, but now they're actually going back the way they all got slaughtered the first time...
