91% - Safety Not Guaranteed - Rotten Tomatoes

I think that rating is a little generous (I would vote 73%), but it was an enjoyable movie and interesting exploration into humanity, dreams, regrets and expectations. Without Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate from Parks & Rec), this would have been an average movie. It's the same role but she fits it perfectly.

Mark Duplass (Pete Eckhart from The League) stars opposite Aubrey and fits the role, albeit more seriously than I would have expected.

The trailer looked a lot funnier than the actual movie, though it had its infrequent moments.

The King's Speech

Inspiring voyage of one man's tremendous struggle with the world on the brink of destruction. Worthy of the accolades it received.

Those looking for action will already have passed this by, but those who can appreciate superb acting, dialogue, characters and history will enjoy this film.

I just finished watching "True Confessions" in Netflix streaming. It's an old one made in the 60's but i thought it was very interesting. Has something to do with the Catholic chuch and a very brutal murder. Robert Duvall, Charles Durning and DeNiro all good actors of thier time have great rolls in this classic. DeNiro plays the part of a pius priest and he has dectective brother (Robert Duval) investigating a brutal killing of a innocent hooker and Charles Durning has alot to do with it. Really was a good movie of its time.

It's basically just a low budget road movie but it's long been one of my favorites because it's a story being told BY Indians rather than a white man's movie about Indians. It's also cool because I've been to the Coeur D'alene rez.

Observe and Report. The DVR said that it was slightly more than 17 minutes in before I Stopped and Deleted. I think that the DVR starts approximately 3 minutes prior to a show starting, so, really, I didn't even make it 15 minutes into the movie before I couldn't take it anymore.

Valhalla Rising

Um, yeah. Not even sure what to say since I liked the cinematogrophy, but could not really follow the plot. All I got out of the story is that One-Eye doesn't talk, supposedly came from hell, and likes to kill people. Just a werid movie.

That sounds about right.

Why in the world is it so hard to make a Viking movie that doesn't suck?

the TV show the Vikings on History Channel is OK for a viking movie / miniseries. i don't get TV at my house anymore but make it a point to watch this one when I can. very few TV shows i make it a point to watch anymore either.

Honestly, there might only be 15-20 minutes of watchable
Humor in that movie. I was a bit disappointed.

When they get messed up and jump the teens skating,
That part had me rolling.
