The Ko-Dan didn't stand a chance.

I still have a crush on Mags.

We got E.T. from the library and watched it with the kids last night. Haven't seen it like 20 years probably, but I couldn't stop laughing at this scene where E.T. see's a kid dressed like Yoda and starts following him saying "HOME, HOME!!!" ROTF. It finally makes sense

Just finished watching Jurassic Park and Lost World. JP is still pretty damn good after all the advances of the last almost 20 years since it came out, and of course the soundtrack is amazing. One of those movies that will definitely stand the test of time.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the sequels. Lost World is still as bad as I remember it, and I have no desire to watch the third one again anytime soon.

Theodore Geisel deserves better than overused Holly cliches & soulless Zac Ephram/Taylor Swift pablum.

Very disappointing

Little kids are still going to enjoy it but overall it is as fulfilling as marshmallow fluff.

Which is particularly frustrating since the Lost World book managed to top the original.

(ears perk up)

Really?

I've always liked Crichton but for some reason never read the sequel assuming it was a money grab pushed by his publisher.

I liked it better. Now it has been over a dozen years since then, and I was pretty enamored with Crichton books (Airframe) but I thought it was quite good.

there are some inconsistencies and the purists complain about Crichton's detail, others that he only wrote it because of the movies, but it is definitely worth reading.
