By the way, FUCK Liggins and Harrelson.

Both those punk ass bitches are what I've always HATED about that goddamn asshole Calipari's teams. Always recruits asshole piece of shit thug players.

Fuck those pieces of shit, fuck Calipari, fuck Kentucky.

And with that...I transition to:

I'm gonna fucking miss Diebler, Dallas, and David. Shit. Thanks for an incredible run, its never going to be the same.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Sully, Craft, Deshaun: Remember how bad this tastes. Come back with a vengence next season. Sully, get angry, get a bit tougher, you WILL be unstoppable.

You're not blaming the refs, but you go on a 100 word diatribe about...the refs.

Come on, we shot 33%. It would be tough to beat Iowa with that kind of offense, much less win a sweet 16 game. We just had "one of those nights" at a really bad time. :ohwell:

Oh OK, I guess any opinion about anything is whining tonight. Gotcha. Whatever.

NOTE: I am NOT blaming the refs for this loss.

But I will say that this sentence is why I have grown to inherently hate the game of basketball. Who the fuck says the foul numbers have to be even at the end of a game? The refs, that's who. It was beyond obvious that they came out (especially the one guy under the basket) looking for ways to quickly even the numbers up. Not looking at the same criteria for fouls that they just did in the first half, but looking for any way he could to get the numbers closer to even an quickly as he could...to what, avoid some blame at the end of the game? The whole fucking thing is beyond arbitrary, it's almost predetermined, and I say that not so much about this game in particular, but about more or less every game in general.

Truth.

God I hope we don't spend the next week debating this loss. We lost, period.

Can't wait for football to start and I could care less who wins the NC in basketball this year. This team will be a force to reckon with next year.

Yes, please. Let's talk about the football team. What have they been up to the last couple weeks? :paranoid:

And have him jack up three bad shots in a row when points were at a premium in this game? Not a chance.

Plain and simple, we had an awful shooting night. Should of expected it after we shot the lights out against GM.

Uh we shot 30%. He misses 3 shots and it's par for the rest of the team. But maybe he makes 3 big buckets and ends up being the difference. I'm not saying play him the last 4 mins.

Thousands of calls missed calls in these games.... Only one I thought hurt was when that Eddie Munster dude charged Craft and they called it on Craft. I didn't see the replay could have been a good call but first glance it looked like he was set.

I really wish Diebs could have taken the last shot, I really think it would have gone it just because it's diebs, and he's a senior...I was thinkin all tourny Diebs would hit a game winning 3 sometime

Well he did shine hitting the tying shot. If it had been him on the last look someone would have been molesting his monkey...no way he gets an open look at the end.

This was a 2 point game. 1 or 2 more calls--in the first half of either half when this uneven crew was deciding what to with this one--and 33% from the floor isn't the stat of the night. Yes, it was a bad game in many ways by our guys tonight, but to dismiss the role of officiating completely is so simplistic.

I feel ya. I noticed that the first half was significantly slanted in favor of tOSU in terms of close calls, but I didn't expect the second half to be the "equalizer" as it was, some refs do this in just about every sport. In the end though it was a one possession game and while certain calls should/shouldn't have been made it wasn't the only reason for the loss.

...and I've learned not to take Jake personally, there's a lot of people like that that would rather burn you on semantics and technicalities than understand what you have to say.

I don't want to second guess here but I really wish we wouldn't tighten our line up SO much when we hit adversity. Lauderdale nowhere to be found in the 2nd half

Going into this game, I said Sully and Lauderdale on the court AT THE SAME TIME would be key in this game to slow down Harrelson and open up the 3 pointer. We saw glimpses tonight, in the first half... Then abandoned that, and went into chaos mode wayyy too early. The movement off the ball the last 10 minutes of the game was god awful... Really wish Matta would have called a TO, calmed the players down, and set up some offense.
