Ky +5.5 vs tOSU (ov/un 137.5) Fri 9:45 ET, CBS

I have no problem saying I didn't want Buford taking that last shot, because he was quite simply horrendous the entire night and not in position. Craft could have easily slid back over to his right and shoveled it to Diebs, who was practically in line with Craft and a few steps away from a UK player, enough space for Diebs. Instead he pushed it to the left where there were more UK jerseys than OSU jerseys, the only other one being Buford.

before the tournament, there were 3 teams i didn't want to face: kentucky, north carolina, and kansas. those three teams were horrible match-ups for the buckeyes. lucky us.

Pretty shitty when Ohio State ends up with the brutal draw down the stretch. Kansas gets a cake walk until Sunday, I think VCU has a decent shot. But how in the world does OSU get the number 1 overall seed with powerhouses like Syracuse, UNC, AND Kentucky? Seems like they got a raw deal at the end of the day. But what can you do... Life goes on.

I will miss you.

I think the reason I was so upset by this is the fact I wanted so badly for Lighty, Diebler, and Dallas to play on.

Thank You Seniors, you'll be missed!
:oh:

Disappointing for sure. Buford got a great look at the end. Just a little off.

For a few years now Ohio State has lacked length. Lighty has done a tremendous job playing defense on bigger defenders but like last year against Tennessee an athletic team with great length was just a bit too much. Nine blocked shots by Kentucky and two fistfuls of shots that were probably affected by thoughts of the length of Kentucky including some easy layups.

I'm not going to bitch. Kentucky executed when it mattered and they didn't back down an inch. They earned the win.

This one stings... I know we had the team to bring it home this year, but picked a bad night to have a terrible night. Poor Buford, my heart goes out to him and you know this game will hurt/hant him for a while.

Thanks Sr's for a fun exciting season.

I'm gonna go get shitfaced and punch the first unfortunate person that even vaguely resembles a hillbilly.

NOTE: I am NOT blaming the refs for this loss.

But I will say that this sentence is why I have grown to inherently hate the game of basketball. Who the fuck says the foul numbers have to be even at the end of a game? The refs, that's who. It was beyond obvious that they came out (especially the one guy under the basket) looking for ways to quickly even the numbers up. Not looking at the same criteria for fouls that they just did in the first half, but looking for any way he could to get the numbers closer to even an quickly as he could...to what, avoid some blame at the end of the game? The whole fucking thing is beyond arbitrary, it's almost predetermined, and I say that not so much about this game in particular, but about more or less every game in general.

You're not blaming the refs, but you go on a 100 word diatribe about...the refs.

Come on, we shot 33%. It would be tough to beat Iowa with that kind of offense, much less win a sweet 16 game. We just had "one of those nights" at a really bad time. :ohwell:

I hope my hand is ok after I punched the wall, not sure, still numb

 I feel for you, when I was younger I did the same thing all the time. When you get older like me you just end up expecting it to not go your way (well, and you kill all the nerves in your fingers)

God I hope we don't spend the next week debating this loss. We lost, period.

Can't wait for football to start and I could care less who wins the NC in basketball this year. This team will be a force to reckon with next year.
