Kevin Wilson (Former HC Tulsa)

It seems that when things were not working, he figured out something that would work (crossing routes), rather than just "Run JT Run." I see he said the offensive line made some adjustments also, but I don't know what those were. I wish I did.

Finally, the deep ball that was dropped ... I think it puts almost as much pressure on the defense as one that is caught, since the defenders might possible believe that another pass like that will be caught.

And yet, feel so stupid after Nebraska provided the same warning.

Only difference being, OSU fans had some plausible logic in disregarding the warnings because of the talent difference in who he worked with at Nebraska and who he would be working with at OSU.

Tejas had no logical reason to believe they had better QB talent (although I am sure this didn't stop them from believing that they did).

All in all I am glad to see the clown show, Texas fans are the burnt orange version of the DFBIA.

Understood.
The way I look at it though is IF someone's a shitty carpenter/manufacturer then it doesn't matter the quality of their raw materials. Still going to produce a shit product some way, shape or form. Beck can recruit. That's the lone thing he can hang his hat on.

Love the answers here & how Coach took ownership of the offensive issues. I'm over the loss.... it's a long season & there's plenty to look forward to.

To me we are trying to prove we can throw the ball and are forcing the issue. Just do what we do best which is run through the opponents and controlling the LOS. From there pick your spots throwing the ball.

We shouldn't be throwing the ball more then 20 times right now. Not until we can prove we will at least complete the pass.

Is it the OC and offensive staff trying to prove we can have a passing game as a team or prove that JT can throw and be a NFL QB?

I agree we have to go back to what we do well, run the ball and get the ball into playmakers hands. Stretch the defense east/west with running the ball and screens/jet sweeps, which should then allow the middle to open up to throw deep. Scale JTs reads back so the plays are design and not JT to read a defense to make a play. Its too much decision making on JTs part.

It just needs to improve dramatically or he needs to walk. Sorry to be so brutally honest but with talent upgrades we've had, this seriously is not ok. Everything looks as bad, if not worse. Get better or find a new Indiana.
