Makes me wonder if when asked if it was consensual the witness's said.."Absolutely...she was asking for it."

Don't have the link but it was a diplomatic statement expressing appreciation for the work of the prosecutor and regret that the length of time that had elapsed made things so difficult. There deepest regret was that it would make it more difficult for other girls in a similar situation.Any statement from the girl's family?
Lawyer is getting pretty brash, coming out with the "women target these athletes" statements. I think I would leave well enough alone, as they say.
"If anybody that knows this young man - he's poised, polite, he's the nicest young man and I believe he was targeted. These athletes are targeted by these young women. And if they don't get what they want, or they expect more, a lot of times you see in these, date rape things, maybe they're embarrassed, maybe they regret it, maybe he didn't call her, it's not the first time I've had a case like this with an athlete."
"I don't think it's a coincidence that nothing happened in December, nothing happened in February, and in December, he didn't throw a pass, hadn't thrown a baseball, and then in November, he's leading the team, and he's a potential for the Heisman trophy, so, I think, from what we understand, that was not a coincidence."
When the incident takes place this guy was just a red-shirt frosh, right? Hard to imagine the girl was digging for gold.

Don't know if JW is still being represented by the same attorney who works for FSU. If this is the attorney the University chooses to represent them, well...stay classy, my confederate brothers.
