It is not Florida State’s job to watch Winston 24/7, but his dad says it is
Winston’s father, Antonor Winston, tells USA Today his son is supposed to have more security around him to make sure he is safe and able to stay out of trouble.
“He’s supposed to have somebody around him 24/7,” Antonor Winston told USA Today. “He a Heisman Trophy winner so (he’s) definitely not supposed to be by (himself).”

Basically: Winston's father thinks FSU should provide Jameis (who is 20 years old and by that age should know right from wrong) with an around the clock babysitter 24/7 to make sure he doesn't commit any crimes, etc.

No double jeopardy for Jameis Winston following crab-gate
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston served a brief suspension from the baseball team following his crab leg incident. At the time Florida State’s football head coach, Jimbo Fisher, seemed to approve of the action being taken regarding the two-sport athlete and gave it his full endorsement. On Monday Fisher confirmed the suspension from the baseball team will suffice and no additional action is necessary by the football program.
“If he would have been in football only, he would have been suspended from football activities only until we took care of all those things,” Fisher said to ESPN.com. “To him that’s just as devastating (missing three baseball games). To me too. I like baseball.”
