Alright, now this is odd... well, not odd. But, if we go back to Kyle's previous commentary regarding how Winston was acting and how it seemed suspicious, I was thinking at the time... if he had a lawyer worth a broke dick, the lawyer would have laid out in no uncertain terms what could happen to him. And, if that attorney did say, "Hey man, look, here's what this girl is accusing you of, and if they choose to believe her and not you, here is what they're gonna do to you" And that's how it should have been laid out before him. In which case he would and should be scared [Mark May]less. And if said attorney was worth a broke dick, he's realize that's the case, and what could happen to his client is a [Mark May] ton more important than a heisman trophy and FSU's 2013 season. So... right now, I'm leaning more toward Kyle's analysis.
To FSU the three most important things are: Getting a crystal ball, getting a heisman trophy, what happens to Winson after January 6; in that order. As I said weeks ago, FSU wants this process sped up so that if he is innocent, it will all be over before Jan 6. They know they can beat UF and Duke without him, but want to speed it up to try to get him back before the national title game. If they don't charge him, even better. A week ago it was a hunch, but now there seems to be a little merit to that thought, particularly now that we know Winston's attorney is also the FSU athletic attorney. Will be proved true IF they decide to charge him and IF Jensen then decides to ask for an immediate trial.
