Hmm latest developments look more and more like something happened to me.
Winston refusing to cooperate with police. Jimbo Fisher claiming "no comment" about how long he's known this information.
The attempts by FSU staff to paint this as a girl trying to hijack their success... when the incident was filed in December when they were utterly irrelevant. Nobody is trying to steal Winston's irrelevance in his redshirt season on their way to the nobody-gives-a-fuck bowl against Northern Illinois.
Team-mates suddenly coming forth as witnesses with affidavits (where were these key witnesses in February?)
Police sweeping it under the carpet for months on end; it was buried w/o being closed until they realized it would have to be disclosed to the media.
Everything seems to point towards "full-on panic infused spin mode". The FSU fan base denigrating the victim also reeks of the PSU insanity imo.

Wow. This is crazy. I'm willing to let the investigation take place before making a decision, but it's crazy. I'm not sure which is worse: that people think it's all Urban Meyer's and Ohio State's fault, that, even if they did alert the police, they shouldn't have, or that this fanbase is as bad as Penn State's.

I mean - if Ohio State DID alert the media about this, do FSU fans think that Ohio State SHOULDN'T have?!? "Yeah, OSU and FSU are like brothers. We won't snitch on you. Go attack more women." What the hell?

And how many other fanbases are this bad? Are we this bad? I know we circled the wagons around Columbus when Tressel was in hot water, but I seem to remember that people were right away calling for him to be fired. I don't remember thinking that was a bad idea. Or vacating wins. Who else is as bad as PSU and FSU?

Well... it seems to ignore that there are a lot of other teams that hate them, you know, just for the sake of hating them. Of course the real issue here, much like the Pedsters is there's a difference between "tipping off" and "framing up" - so, until I find out that this is a forged police report, I tend not to give a fuck. Jimbo's no comment on what and when he knew takes it on shaky ground, it has to be much ado about nothing now, else there's gonna be problems.

The whole Ohio State turning them in is just another internet rumor thing like Terry Saban looking for houses in Austin or Shelly Meyer looking for houses in Col...Oh...Wait...Never mind.

The witness has reported that Jameis had the craziest look in his eyes and at one point he said "Let's get it on." -- Jameis has denied this statement, claiming that was about an upcoming football game and he is "So not a raper."
