I really think our offensive woes are a direct result of Jordan Hall not playing. All of spring and fall we heard how Hall was going to be used in all kinds of different formations and was going to be a playmaker for this offense. Now with him out (and berry slowed by injury) we don't have a true playmaker.

Hyde and Smith are getting what the defense gives them but not much more.

Agree completely.

Also keep in mind that when you lose a starter, everyone else has to bump up. Imagine what a team putting their best coverage guy on Posey will do for Reed and co. when he gets back.

Same goes for the OL when Adams gets back.

This. And think about the defense when the DB's can roll 3-4 deep and the line gets Thomas back. Depth all around and guys that are really hungry to play football again.

If you look at guys that were forced to sit and how they played when they came back, it is night and day. Mike Vick, Plaxico, etc.... these guys come back with a new lease on life. A chance to recover what they gave away. I'm excited for the team we will have going to Licoln.

I honestly don't see much of a boost here. The corners haven't been getting burnt, but i have seen them take some bad angles when trying to tackle in the open field. And with the box being loaded with 8 guys, I dont care if you have Adrian Peterson back there it's going to be a tough time running when they're bringing more than you can block. The biggest impact of all the suspended IMO is Adams, a dominant LT is one of the hardest positions to replace.

Last week J Hall was expected to play..Brax practiced all week with J Hall as spread back..then less than24 hrs before game no Hall then Sat no Brax..I don't think this was coincidence..if Hall was available Brax would've played against Toledo

This could open up another 15 plays that were designed for Hall. He gets split out as well as being a standard RB. This could also put Miller on the field more. It is also a big morale boost for the guys to put this behind them. Don't undercut mindset in football. It is what caused the Toledo game to be closer than it should have been.
