I honestly don't see much of a boost here. The corners haven't been getting burnt, but i have seen them take some bad angles when trying to tackle in the open field. And with the box being loaded with 8 guys, I dont care if you have Adrian Peterson back there it's going to be a tough time running when they're bringing more than you can block. The biggest impact of all the suspended IMO is Adams, a dominant LT is one of the hardest positions to replace.

You've got a point on the CBs--Clarke and Roby have played lights-out so far this season. But I think you're discounting the added dimension, not to mention the great vision when running the ball, that Hall brings to the offense.

Glad to have them back... I really don't wanna be a killjoy but.... Reinstatements are separate from infractions... I just hope these guys are Mr Clean and this was just a one time deal.

In its statement, the NCAA said, "Reinstatement decisions are independent of the NCAA enforcement process and typically are made once the facts of the student-athlete's involvement are determined. This is typically well in advance of infractions decisions. The enforcement investigation into the Ohio State University is ongoing."

I agree but with them sitting 2 games preemptive to any possible further infractions has to be shown as a good start. And again why I think the University is trying to show that they have ramped up the self imposing an even larger notch.

No inside info here but I'm thinking this will be dealt with by then. One way or the other.

Officially, they've only missed two games. I believe someone linked a story earlier where Gene said he disagreed with the NCAA's decision to hold them out a 2nd game. Leads me to believe that the NCAA was doing some further investigating. I would expect that this should either be dealt with this week or this could go on for a while.

Sounds like there is expected to be some sort of ruling on these guys today according to the player and coach interviews from today.

Good Calls...

The NCAA cleared the players for the game against the Hurricanes as soon as they pay $200 to another charity.
Where do they come up with $200 in 3 days? Or do they still have the $200? How come the UF player didn't have to pay his money back before he could play again (even though it's BS he was suspended to begin with)?

:ohwell:

If thats expeditious my ass on fire explosive diarrhea is really constipation and I've been taking the wrong meds all along. Either way, it's a shitty mess.

Depth is the boost. Depth is our biggest issue right now.
