J. Hall, C. (Pittsburgh) Brown, and T. Howard reinstated for Miami

Several questions answered

It seems like the Digeronimo's answer cleared up a few questions.

1) Who was the source of the money
2) Why the players thought it was ok to take it. TP was a team leader at the time and Hall certainly would have trusted him.
3) What other potential problems TP has been involved with. Distributing money to other teammates would have to be another violation in and of itself.
4) Why there were inconsistencies in the stories

What a piece of [Mark May]! Always remember Mr. DiGeromino that Ohio State does not want you around.

You're nothing to us now. You're not a Buckeye. You're not a friend of the program. We don't want to know you or what you do. When you come to Columbus, we want to know a day in advance so we can have the State Highway Patrol harrass your ass.

I have been a long time TP supporter even through the tough times. But if he did 'roll' on his former teams to get him self in the NFL, he should be banned from the WHAC for life. I love the guy, but this looks bad....

I hope that's not what happened. If so, all of the same advice goes for him double.

Word is TP is the one who gave the money to the players. Him being a former player at that point he was a booster, thats a major NCAA violation. Apparently Pryor is the one who reported this, changing his eligibility. Making him eligible for the supplemental draft.....

Listen I love TP, but if this is true.....And there are some heavy hitters saying that it is indeed true.

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about with this TP giving up his teammates shit. That didn't/will never happen.

I hope your right but the PD and Bill livingston said in this piece that he did

Clearly, Pryor. He squealed like a rusty hinge when he thought it would help him get into the NFL by the supplemental draft

Doesnt seem like a factual story but looks like its the concensus with the Cleveland media

If this happened in February, he was still a player, not a booster. Just because it came to light after he was no longer here, doesn't make him a Booster. $200 dollars isn't a major violation either way, or at least that's the impression I was given. This instance was self-reported by OSU if I'm not mistaken, not the NCAA.

Who are these heavy hitters you speak of? Nobody within the program, I'm sure.

Blaming TP

I am sure that many will blame TP for this and possibly a lot of other stuff that will come out in the future. Some of the blame will be justified and some wont, but TP has little credibility left to argue about any charges.

Remember, all of this stuff happened AFTER he had already been suspended for the tats. Its not just that he had no excuse for this sort of behavior, he had an OBLIGATION to the program to stay out of trouble personally. But if he corrupted his teammates, I wont be able to forgive him. If Buckeye Nation really believes that he helped corrupt his teammates, then he will never be welcome back in Columbus....ever

The booster is Bobby D...he gave envelopes to TP who handed them out to the three...the money came from a well known booster who hung out with TP....the article in the PD is saying that this came from TP's explanation to the NFL on why he was never eligible

Corrupted his teammates? Now that's a good one.

I read the article. Sounds like speculation. I won't believe that TP squeeled on anything until I hear it from people who know.
