Anyone else have trouble viewing the whole blog entry on The Duane Long Report when viewing it through the app? Is there a way to scroll down further that I'm missing?

I've read in his last few entry's that he has had to switch servers for his blog. I don't know if that affects his iphone pap. I used to have the same problem on my android phone, but I can now read all of article through the app. Someone needs to get the Buckeye Battle Cry to make app as well.

Also, I've been meaning to add a few other apps that I've downloaded lately:

  • Tapatalk RO - it's a message board app that works with vBulletin. BP is not active on there (there's a thread in the Administrative forum if you're interested) but RedsZone is and I read it thru this app. It seems like a battery saver since it's not loading and reloading all the page graphic like thru Safari. I just lurk on RedsZone, so I only have the free read-only version of the app. If BP adds support though, I'll purchase the full version for posting privileges.
  • Sonic the Hedgehog - price was just cut in half, now $2.99. That's about as much as I'll spend on a game, so I have it now that it's cheaper.
  • Archetype - It's like Halo for iPhone. Up to 5-on-5 online deathmatch, and it seems like about the closest approximation to a console FPS experience that you'll get on a mobile touchscreen device. I suck at it, but it's still fun. $2.99.
  • ReelDirector - it's like iMovie for people who don't have an iPhone4. Fairly simple to use on the fly, and robust for a mobile app. $4.99.
  • TripCase - itinerary management. I have all of my flight, hotel & rental car information when I travel.
  • ShopShop - the simplest, cleanest shopping list app out there. It's the closest replication of a regular pencil & paper list that you'll find. When I'm going for bread, milk, eggs & chips I don't want to have to fiddle around with coupons, ads, barcodes, photos, unit prices or anything like that. I just need to remember what to buy. Swipe across an item to cross it out, shake it like an Etch-a-Sketch to clear everything that's been crossed off so far.

My girlfriend has gotten me hooked on a new game app, Words With Friends. Its a Scrabble knock-off, and we both have the free version, though there is a $3 full app. You can play with others either "over the air" (if you have an iTouch, you have to be connected to wireless), or there is a mode for two people to play with one iTouch/iPhone. It does seem to eat through battery at a decent clip, though. But it is very addicting and fun, since you can chat in the game itself.

I play it all the time. What's your username? They had the paid version on sale for 99c over July 4th. much nicer than waiting for the ads after every move.

MLB.com At Bat 2010 has just dropped in price from $14.99 to $6.99. Listen live to any MLB radio broadcast, gametracker, and live video if you also hold an MLB.TV subscription. I've been waiting for the price drop, and just picked it up to follow the Reds down the stretch and hopefull well into October.
