Indians Tidbits (2010 season)

I thought it was funny that the crowd boo'd Strasburg as he left the field, then everyone left the stadium after he was done.

He was having trouble with the mound, it was definitely affecting his pitching. Didn't seem comfortable out of the stretch, either.

Indians just looked bad, until it was well over. Imagine that.

Great day for baseball though.. really enjoyed being at the stadium, despite the lack of game..

I thought they were booing because the manager took him out, not booing him...I'd say at least 1/2 the crowd was only there for Stras, since it was about 2x the crowd as normal.

Lost in all the Strasburg hoopla is another brilliant outing by Tony Sipp...IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER bringing his season ERA to a sparkling 7.48. His last seven outings? 2.1 IP, 14 Hits (yes, 14), 7 BB, 15 R (yes, 15), 15 ER = 57.86 ERA (:slappy:), 9.000 WHIP (). I didn't think numbers that bad were possible.

You'll all thank me later...

I wonder if Adam Miller had stayed healthy how he would have compared against Strasburg or maybe there is some comparison of Strasburg and Miller when they pitched in the minors but Strasburg pitched very few games.

Also, Crowe should have caught that one ball. I think Grady would have easily caught it:(

:slappy: 3 fucking errors

what defense.......

Wright reached on an infield single, Reyes scored.

Reyes reached on bunt single to pitcher, Francoeur scored, Cora to third, Reyes to second on pitcher Masterson throwing error.

Wright reached on an infield single, Cora and Reyes scored.

4 fucking runs via infield singles

Christ almighty...

Despite struggles, Sipp will still get ball | indians.com: News

*facepalm*

How bad is this bullpen? Masterson is getting shelled and is still pitching through 7 innings...

Pronk apparently appreciating Starsburg's extra velocity.
Strasburg is impressive. The biggest reason to watch the Nats-Indians tilt.

That said, I'm excited to see Carlos Santana the remainder of this season. He is a stud.

Carmona will blow about 1/3 of his starts, but in the remaining 2/3 he'll be almost unhittable. What an all-or-nothing kind of hurler he is.
