Oh no, none of those backing away now. I kept on saying that I wanted to see guys like Laporta, Santana, Brantley etc. but either it was yourself or maybe tsteele or maybe even mania that said they were cannot miss prospects.

I doubt anybody said that. There's no such thing as a "can't miss prospect". I did say there's reason for optimism for the future coming into this season. That was before most everybody fell flat on their face. This season has surpassed any worst case scenario anyone could have imagined.

im hyped about Santana yes

But I dont think I ever did much hyping of LaBusta or Brantley

I don't know what it is, but I'm telling ya, this happens all the time. Somebody plays like shit, I come on here and call them on it, then suddenly they play like an all-star. :lol:

i'm aware. but NF has an uncanny knack for talking trash about an indians player, usually during the course of the game, and that guy comes back and does something impressive shortly thereafter. it was a tongue in cheek comment based on it happening several times lately.

Terrific outing from Fauston tonight. I have to say, he's come back much stronger than I thought he would this year. Not quite to 2007 form, but very solid.
