From Indians.com:

Perez followed up a blown save in Detroit on Sunday with another rough outing against the Rangers in the Indians' home opener, a 4-2 loss at Progressive Field. Brought into a game that was tied at 2 in the ninth, Perez let Texas load the bases without recording an out. "#383," Perez said.

Hafner is horrible. Has been since they signed him to that big deal. Not sure what you do with him at this point given his contract.

Gawd, I remember the days when we were looking at Westbrook, Hafner & Sabathia and who we should sign from that group and alot of people felt since we could sign Westbrook & Hafner for the price of CC that we should do it... dang, isn't hindsight 20/20 :sad2:

I was at the game following the announcement of Hafner's 4 year/$57 million deal. Garko got a game-winning single in the 9th after Joe Blow blew the save...:shake:

Seemed like a good day for the organization. Keeping a big hitter from leaving. Fans gave him a standing ovation on his first at-bat.

Screw that day now.

I think we have a new number designation to add to the vernacular...a "#439" for Travis Hafner

Can someone please put together a key for post number-player referenced? I don't want to get confused. I have had so much extra free time since I gave up watching Indians games around 2 years ago. Someone PM me when they are good again and I'll start tuning in. At least we have the Cavs.

"[The closer role] is probably not going to be mind much longer if I keep pitching like this."
No wonder he is having a hard time adjusting they can't even get his quotes grammatically correct:) mind much
