Indians Tidbits (2010 season)

Weak. Pathetic. Inexcusable.

Chris fucking Perez should buy Westbrook dinner on his way out.

No excuses for a professional ballplayer earning that kind of money to perform like that. NONE.

Yes. And again.

OK, this is what I'm hoping is going through Acta's mind entering the ninth:

"Wow, did Perez suck yesterday, is he really that bad? Let me put him in one more pressure situation and see"

"Wow, yes, in fact Perez is a flaming pile of toadstool barf after blowing another one, time to send the fucker on a one-way trip to A ball and (picks up the phone)...get me somebody...anybody"

Tom Hamilton, stop playing with my emotions! "THAT BALL IS HIT A TON!!!!! IT'S WAAAY BACK......aaaaand caught 10 feet in front of the warning track.."

I'm sure it's an acquired taste, but I've never gotten used to it.

Appreciate it for what it is...good comedy. I don't know if you remember 1991 or 2003, but this is setting up much like those glorious seasons...
Too young for '91, '03 was rough though. Danys Baez? Ricardo Rodriquez? Billy Traber? Yeesh.

I didn't have much expectations going in, was hoping for around 70 wins, but these losses still suck when the games are right there for them.

Like you said earlier in the thread, definitely a "Major League" feel to it. I haven't even had to watch that movie since the season started, when I can tune in any given day and get the live version.

I might give it a whirl though, I like Charlie Sheen's version of Wild Thing a little more than Chris Perez's. :p

Yeah, 2003 was rough, but you knew they were building towards something. They had dealt off a lot of stars for prospects and had some garbage vets left behind. Same as this year. They were/are gradually breaking in those youngsters and it takes patience. Hopefully Peralta and Hafner aren't long for this organization. I know Hafner's untradeable at this point, but maybe somebody will be stupid enough to offer up a mid-level prospect for baby huey come August.

Also, am I the only one who is beginning to wonder if Sizemore is ever gonna approach the potential he once showed? Through the injuries, the whiffs, the silly pics popping up on the internet, I'm wondering if maybe the hype was a bit over done...
