matt laporta has saved peralta 4 times this year on shitty throws. peralta has 2 of the teams 3 errors this year. he's hitting under .150.

he whiffed with the bases loaded and one out, and poped out with guys on 2nd and 3rd and one out, and accounted for 2 unearned runs for the rangers. solid performance for baby huey tonight.

masterson actually didn't do too badly to the righties tonight. lefties and peralta is what blew that game.

the only positives so far this season is carmona getting a little better, masterson being decent at the #3 spot and brantley settling in nicely in left and at #9.

also, lou marson has a decent throwing arm, but he can't hit for shit. carlos santana shouldn't get too comfortable in buffalo.

Sadly, it was even worse than that. He struck out looking with the bases loaded, then grounded into a double play with runners on 1st and 3rd. At least get the ball in the air. Any major leaguer should be able to hit a sac fly at the very least.

Huff looking good through 3...not sure why Acta didn't seem high on him in ST, he's a hell of a lot better than most of our other pitchers.

And can the Cy Young award go to a hitter? I nominate #383, who will be responsible for a lot of inflated K and GIDP stats and crazy low ERAs for the American League this year...

2 runs over 4 innings should be manageable and acceptable for a 5th starter...if this team had any kind of offense, it wouldn't be so bad, but when they get down 2-0 it's like game over.

:lol: holy shit. since I've been listening there have been 2 awful errors on routine plays, a 3 run home run, a hit, and a HBP......and no outs.

I'm going to turn it off to see what happens :evil:
