When I was a real little kid, and decided to be a Cleveland fan in all sports, I wish someone had slapped me.

Big Shocker. A Cleveland Sports team is blowing it. Now lost 4 of 5 to shitty teams (this Sox team tonite was a bunch of bench warmers).

Lighten up "Dorm" the guys on the mound weren't "bench warmers" and thats where the game is won or lost. Right now, the Tribe is in an offensive funk. They have 2 days to straighten it out. They still control their own destiny, albeit that it may have to be done by winning a playoff game. We came into the CWS series needing to win three in a row to make the playoffs. After tonites game, if we win the next three in a row we WILL make the playoffs.

Westbrook vs. Garland tomorrow which is a MUST win. We win this and were guaranteed to be tied for the wild card lead after tomorrows game. Then for the final game we would control our own destiny. If the Yankees and Bo Sox split then we would need to win both but if one team wins the next to games we could still only win one more and force a playoff.

HA!!! If that scenario happens (3 in a row), I will stop posting on this board.

Losing 4 of 5 right now, with the playoffs on the line, shows that this team is too young to compete on the big stage. Unfortunately, with baseball structured the way it is, the Indians have a really small window to capitalize on this young talent before they sign with the Yankees or Red Sox. So, this latest stretch is very disheartening.

All I will say is thank god I went to bed after the 8th inning. (so I can be here at work at 6am, fun eh?) Or else there is no way I would have been able to sleep or got up this early. The game last night would have driven me crazy!

We just killed our margin for error. It now is simple, we win the next two and we are playing Monday or Tuesday. Only in freaking Cleveland would we blow it this bad.
