Impending Assistant Coach Vacancies

So:
1.) Yurcich
2.) Mattison
3.) Hafley
4.) Hartline
5.) L. Johnson

all confirmed

Schiano and Davis confirmed gone, T. Johnson likely gone.

Any ideas on where things stand with Studrawa, Alford, and Wilson?

Wilson is confirmed in. Forget where I read it but I saw it. (OZone maybe?)

It will me. First, there's no buzz about Wilson going anywhere and I'm not sure he's been in HC exile long enough considering the Indiana allegations of his conduct as HC. Second, Wilson and Day clearly work very well together. Three, if I'm Ryan Day, considering the way this last season went on that side of the ball, I do all I can to keep the band together.
Kevin Wilson's background is OLine. I'd love him to get back to that expertise while they show Studwara the door. Give Wilson the equivalent of LJS on the D- "Associate HC, OLine."

Wilson/Day/Yurcich can gameplan. Hartline WR, Alford RBs. Offense is set.

Mattison, Hafley, LJS, ???, ???. Presumably an LB coach.

Also, they really need a ST person with Meyer gone. I think I read Al Washington has lead those units before.

I doubt Stud is going anywhere. Guess we'll see.

In the end, Buckeye fans are getting the large overhaul we all wanted, while keeping the best we had on the D side in Larry Johnson Sr.

Also, now have a mix of older experienced front-seven playcaller and a young successful secondary coach. It's a little unconventional, I admit, but we were ready to burn it all down. Day did that.

Add Al Washington or Marcus Freeman as LB coach and let's roll.
Most importantly it shows he's willing to be his own coach and not just retain guys because Meyer said so... Sink or swim he's doing it his way instead of waiting till it was forced like Riley. Though some of it is forced. Grinch/Schiano. Some of it was unforced Davis/Tavar.

Maybe - I just have a feeling Wilson might jump on a new opportunity. He's 57, I think he'll want to be a HC again soon.

I guess i’m in the let Day hire who he wants... I mean we haven’t heard yet of anyone on other teams we might want and have a shot at getting big raises indicating they turned us down?

first round of hires he gets to make with minimal question from me... would i want older guys maybe not but I dont coach football but I did stay at a holiday inn express...
