Game Thread Illinois 28, Ohio State 21 (final)

Buckeye redemption train will just keep rolling baby!!!

1-2 versus Illinois last 3 home games...

Time to reverse the trend.

Bring your juicers this week.

And I really wish they'd wear their fighting carrots uniforms, unfortunately they are playing on the road.

Keep in Mind, Michigan is more worried about Wisconsin. Do they play Henne and Hart or keep them out? Neither are 100% but they want to win the game too.

I'm hoping they play both. I hope they don't get the attitude of "it doesn't matter if we win cause either way we play OSU for the Big Ten Championship." And I hope they have Mallett taking snaps and throwing on the sidelines in case he has to go in for Henne. Against MSU he didn't even have his helmet on and the coach had to take his cap off before he went in for Henne. And what did he do on the first snap? He fumbled.

I can see Carr overlooking Wisconsin, but I can't see Tressel overlooking Illinois. Wells should have a big day and OSU's defense is too good for Illonois. And if Henne can pick apart Illinois, Boeckman should have no problem.

I'll be watching both games tomorrow. I want to see both teams win that way when I go to THE GAME I'll get to see Michigan upset #1 Ohio State.

GO BLUE!

I'm a little nervous about watching Benn return kickoffs for Illinois. I think he's averaging about 30 yards a return and has taken one all the way to the house this year. The kid is super exciting and the way our coverage team has looked at times...well... This is the first year in recent memory where I can honestly say our special teams has me concerned. I'm sure JT and company are hammering this home in prep work though.

I thnk we have a handle on the special teams thing. Its this spread offense I am concerned about. Someone is going to be assigned to stay home on Juice and another is going to be assigned to Mendehal. They are dangerous.
