Idea to Redout Penn State

Again, I'm not really crazy about the whole "Hey! Let's all wear identical shirts!" idea. But, if your numbers are correct, it sounds like your idea is really taking off. I'll be watching that game on TV (unless I can miraculously get a ticket to that one), and, if your "Sea of Scarlet" idea is shown, one of two things will happen:

1. I will think it looks stupid and say so to all who are willing to listen to me (which is usually no more than my wife, and that's only because I hunt for her throughout the house).
2. I will think it looks pretty cool, and I will immediately hop on the bandwagon and argue with anyone who says I ever disliked the idea. Just kidding - If I think it looks good, I'll say that I was wrong about it.

So if you and your group likes the idea, then keep up the work. And by the way, "Sea of Scarlet" sounds much better than "Red-Out" did.

See, and now here's the thing, really... I like the whole idea of the Scarlet fest as it were, but OSU hasn't had a problem in the past getting unity in the stands. I mean, hats off to you for the whole scarlet out thingy as it relates to PSU's white out. But, I maintain, we could do nothing and still have a sea of scarlet on any given Saturday.

DOn't mean to "poo poo" just sayin.

It's the folks that don't think it will make a difference...that won't make it much of a difference.

Can't wait to see those that participate on the TV from down here in FLA.

I'm saying that OSU doesn't need to do anything like this to drum up support. Hats off to you, really. But, we don't have a problem at OSU supporting the Bucks, like they apparently do at places like PSU.
