i'm in Texas right now and the worst has already passed me.

the southern part of Louisiana is getting drilled as we speak.
reports of tornado in Prairieville (just outside of Baton Rouge) and funnel clouds that haven't touched down near Kenner (suburb of New Orleans).

two things to watch for (the whole line sucks though)

1. The cell by Texas City looks interesting...certainly there's hail with that one

2. The cells in the gulf south of Palacios could start spinning if they aren't already

Edit: I just realized that post was at 8:33AM this morning...shows you how much I've been paying attention...


this is south Louisiana right now (and the reason I'm not driving home today)

Its windy as shit behind the line... just picked up here in Austin... it was rocking my accord back and forth at a stop light... averaging prolly 20mph with gust up near 50
