I was in Hartford, CT last Friday for business-it was just over 10 degrees that day. I went into Cabela's and blew $80 of credit card rewards points on a new baitcaster-that is ten weeks away from being useable.

That's what I do with both my hunting & fishing gear from Cabela's. Buy way early or way late (maybe get discounted, but not usually other than camo gear).

So friggin cold today that the Bassmaster Classic at Lake Hartwell (S.C.) was delayed 90 minutes. Ice on rods too.
