Getting real nasty here with two cells that are colliding, one heading northeast, the other moving southeast. And of course they're merging around me which means this is gonna last for quite a while.

Weather's smokey here. Wildfire buring up in the mountains ~15 miles W of Ft. Collins is up to 36,000 acres, with no containment in sight. This thing is going to be epically bad. :(

Two weeks ago Beryl hit Jacksonville and hung around for about a week just off the coast. I tripped it to Arkansas for Wakarusa but it rained the whole time I was gone and rained everyday since I returned. Yesterday afternoon we were hit with a deluge of almost 2 inches of rain, on top of all the rain we'd gotten in the last two weeks. This morning is the first real nice morning - 75 and sunny. Finally.

Need rain and badly here in Indy. I don't think we have had more than 10 minutes of rain in the last month. Everyone else has gotten rain but we are dry as a bone, hot, and windy. I am not sure when we became West Texas. I have trees with leaves turning and dropping.

It's crazy humid here. It says it's only 64% but it feels like the bayou here.

We're supposed to be in the 90s the next ten days, with a couple upwards of 100.

Now I remember why I hate summer.

We were supposed to hit the mid- to upper-90s yesterday with high humidity, but for some reason a bunch of clouds formed out of the humidity, gave us a thick cloud cover, and we never hit 90 degrees.

It's supposed to exceed 100 here with high humidity tomorrow through Friday, so hopefully Nebraska doesn't just melt.
