i posted at 837pm, i had been home maybe half an hour or 45minish. i missed the opening draw. could have, who knows.

good stuff to jo is back checking, forecheck, watching the f2, etc. not goal scoring....

Shut up, hoser. I worked and 11.5 hour day, fought traffic to get there, and then hiked to and from the Riffe Center (in the driving sleet after the game) before fighting traffic and weather to get home. I fought-off a caffeine headache in the 3rd period and tossed my favorite OSU hat on the ice.

You're nothing but a "light" fan with no "competitive composure". :shake:

Death Storm 2009?

From the NWS:

THE 00Z EUROPEAN IS STILL INDICATING QUICKER PHASING...ALLOWING THE
A LONGWAVE TROUGH TO BUILD SOUTH TO THE WESTERN GULF COAST
STATES...SPINNING A RAPIDLY DEEPENING STORM SYSTEM...TRACKING UP THE
EAST COAST OR JUST WEST OF THE APPALACHIANS...THE JURY IS STILL OUT
ON THIS. HOWEVER...ALL MODELS UKMET/GFS/CANADIAN MODEL AGREE WE WILL
BE LOOKING AT A MAJOR SYSTEM...POSSIBLE METEOROLOGICAL BOMB IN FACT!

What will be interesting will be which side of the Appalachians this bad boy goes. If it goes up the west side........Ohio could be brought to a halt on Tuesday. Right now it looks like it may go up the eastern side though...... It has an inverted trough, so that means it will almost track northwest when it hit's the northeast.........which will linger the winds and snow for a little while. It could bring freezing temps as far south as Florida.

Below (copied from Accuweather.com) is a run down of the computer models and what models have the pressure reading at (in parenthesis, a comparison to a hurricane) when it "bombs out". Obviously not quite the winds of that strong of a hurricane, but a monster storm none the less.

DGEX: <966mb (Strong Cat 2 Hurricane Equivalent)
GFS: <968mb (Cat 2 Hurricane)
ECMWF: <978mb (Weak Cat 2 Hurricane)
NOGAPS: <982mb (Cat 1 Hurricane)
JMA: <990mb (Tropical Storm)

What I got out of that is that we could potentially see a hurricane of snow?

That sounds awful, and I hope I'm just a douche.
