Yea,frozen trees were falling everywhere. I walked outside around 2am to get some air. You could hear trees falling in the woods. Massive trees at that. Everything in my house is electric except the oven..So I had to heat a two story house on just that...Drove down to a local walmart and heard on the radio that we might not have power until sunday..Immediate bricks were shit...Super bowl plans were being made.

Yeah, that sucks. We didn't get all that much ice here. Well, we got a lot, but not enough to kill the lights. Now back in...'05?...yeah, that shit killed the power for a couple weeks. Right before Christmas too. Had to stay in fucking Zanesville on Christmas. Worst. Holiday. Ever.

Basically.......it means that someone is going to get a nasty fucking storm. Perhaps one that we talk about five or 10 years from now. The winds are what will make this storm so bad. Hopefully if it hits Ohio, the ice on the powerlines in central Ohio melts off (prob. will happen on Sunday). If not, the wind could really do some damage with the power.

Obviously I am hyping this storm. I follow the computer models a lot, and this thing has me licking my chops. Someone is going to get drilled by this one. I am not going to lie, I am wanting to see it here in Columbus. :wink2:

If the computer models hold steady, we will get it; in one way, shape, or form.

Way to go, right as you say this the GFS takes this think off the coast:(

Still think it is a fluke and will hopefully run just east of the Apps

Which run are you speaking of? The 12Z had it going east, but the 18Z brought it back farther wast. Obviously it's early, and the run's are yet to come in for 0z, but it's not going off the coast. At least I don't think so.

here is the 0z... like I said I don't buy it this far out. I could likely still get a decent snow from this in Athens. this is 108 hrs out...

Not exactly sure what I should be looking at...Wheres the bad part because I'm hoping its here in Columbus when it's all said and done.

Who knows? What I do know is that this winter most storms have trended west in the end. History has a way of repeating itself....... I'm not sure that will be the case here though.

You know the previous post to this one was very meaningful.I hit post reply and the electric went back out until now...lol..4 nights without electric..
