What exactly was the significance of these?

Blizzard of '78 hit the midwest. Four inches of snow on top of "17 already down. Strong ass winds, ten foot drifts, -80 degree temps. Hit the midwest (us).

Blizzard of '93...dropped a shit ton of snow up and down the eastern seaboard. I remember watching SNL and they were talking about it. NBA games being cancelled...only time I remember that in my life.

Katt throws his gloves off. jo4h decides if it is worth the potential injury for this fight.

I won't fight him. Probably break my hand on his visor.

Wow..I've had power for about 10 minutes..Went out two days ago..Son of a bitch it feels good to be back online.

I figured your post was going to be about the fact that Minnesota and Wisconsin have greater snowfall accumulations on average, and that our blizzard of '78 is rather pathetic when compared to ones seen by those in New England.

Great Blizzard of 1978 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'93 was freakin' crazy. I was little, but I remember it well. I had a snow fort that wasn't built, I just dug the snow away and I was literally surrounded by snow. Easiest fort ever.

I remember watching my car disappear under 2 feet of snow, parked in front of my apartment.

In '94 I was living in Westerville and the temp got down to -20 with -40 wind chills. I went out to my car, hoping it wouldn't start so I could go back in and hibernate. The damn thing started, so I went to work. :ohwell:
