How does work make you feel today?

I love Louis C.K.'s standup. Probably my favortie comedian.

His show is...meh. It has it's moments, but overall seems slow. The best parts of the show are the standup bits.

I about spit out my Yuengling at the very beginning of last night's show when he flicked his daughter off.

I just happened to catch that tooth-brushing exchange with his daughter last night. I thought that was a pretty good scene - tough, especially for a dad of a little girl, thinking that could be you. I loved the brutal, naive honesty of his daughter. That's exactly how kids are - they'll stick that knife in your heart and smile the whole time.

I'm going to have to check out more of that show. The five minutes I saw wasn't bad.

Does anyone else work with someone who sends emails at weird hours? Really, you are working at 3:00 a.m. or 4:00 a.m.???? I have had a couple of different folks like this I have worked with and I know that there role just doesn't require this type of time devotion. Do they just do the delayed time send to make folks think they are really dedicated?

Sometimes when I can't sleep I will log in and get some stuff done. Better than eating Cheetos and watching the infomercials for the greatest juicer/blender thingy/work at home opportunities at 4am.

Is there a happy medium out there for a job? My last job about killed me, it was so demanding and the owners were overbearing. 60-70 hours a week and constant micro management. My new job I barely have 30 hours of work a week, I am fricking bored out of my mind and I hardly hear from the home office.

Argh!!!!
