Ready to quit. Fuck everything. Was supposed to get a call from an HR lady to set up an interview next week (job was relevant to my degree and paid pretty well). No call came and I'm still working the same shitty-ass job I've hated for months. FMF'nL and the economy.

I really don't feel like doing much of anything today...playing games on Facebook sounds like a great idea, and my job is Facebook...but I have stuff I need to put in a database...Screw it. Is it time for the baseball game yet? Being hungry isn't helping, either. :lol:

Starting to get a bit irritated today. Last night my boss decided he wants something last minute for a client we are trying to woo. He has no clue what goes into what he wants, so a lot of people are scrambling to make something happen last minute. I am stuck waiting for others so I can do my part. On a Friday no less in the middle of summer.

I often ask myself how some people get into leadership positions....

I am utterly perplexed as to what it is that makes people think they should do things themselves when they aren't capable of doing it right.

I don't work on my car. Why? Because I'd probably fuck it. I don't work on my furnace. Why? Because I'd probably fuck it up.

Come on, people. You just turned my two hour process into a twelve hour process. And you wasted hours ans hours of your own time doing something I could do for you in an hour per month.

I used to work for a guy like that. If someone told him that he wanted a piece of moon cheese he'd tell me to fly to the moon and get some.

Why do people ignore meetings and emails that give them explicit information on a project and just go off and do whatever the fuck they want?...Were you not in the meeting where we discussed how this was going to be done? Did you not get the email that gave you further information?

And we wonder why the government can't get shit done....
