How does work make you feel today?

how "remote" are you? if youre in a commutable distance, show up from time to time...

Actually it is a flight away...I am in Indianapolis and corporate is in Boston....
I would just like people to respond to emails or phone calls and have a little understanding of what it is like to be outside of corporate.

Just don't know about this job. Most of the time I don't have that much to do, which is a blessing and a curse...

My boss didn't like my weekly report last week. He left me a VM on Friday night and told me there wasn't enough on it and he would call me Monday. So, I modified it and detailed it up and sent it to him on Saturday when I heard the VM. I haven't heard from him yet.

Say it with me people.....COMMUNICATION......

Work makes me feel burned. I got a 2nd degree burn on my left hand from an electrofish boat. Also, I caught this on work time with a 7' medium spin rod with a top-water toad. Lost out on an even bigger 8 lb bass, snapped me off near the net.

Work sucks sometimes..

So, not that I am calling you a liar or anything, but how do you tell that it is an 8 lb. fish while it is still on the line?

Speaking of that, I caught a 8 pound walleye up in Canada on a collapsable rod with no net. I was afraid it was going to snap the line and/or the pole when I tried to pull it over the side so I paddled (I was in a canoe) all the way to shore with the fish trailing on the side of the boat. True story.

Its the logo for the UF Department of Wildlife, so its a Gator. I don't wear my Block O in the field. I've lost too many hats to the lake.

Its a relative guess, but the bass was a jumper so I got a good glimpse at it above the water and I had it near the net for a longer look underwater. The one in the photo is a 4-5 lb largemouth. The fish on the end of my line was longer and about 1.5 times as girthier, filled with eggs. Would have been my biggest fish caught in Florida.

I'm a teacher, and today was my last day of work until early August. Thankfully I stopped coaching football, so aside from sporadic committee work-conducting interviews for new teachers and coaches, school safety, curriculum garbage-I'm free until August 25th or so.

Did Louie actually get funny after the first few weeks? (admittedly Parks & 30 Rock were pretty weak at first) I like his comedy a lot, but the show seemed to forget that part.

I have always liked it... but I also have always liked his stand up too. I hope it doesn't go into a sophmore slump. Wilfred looks like it could be hilarious.

edit- his roles in movies (The invention of lying) have been kinda weak, but he has his moments still in those.
