I never said there was one bad call in the game in the Heat's favor. In fact, I have mentioned that there were 2 indisputable ones, but thanks for putting words in my mouth.

No, but you accused me of only being able to point to 1 bad call. Try to brush up on your reading skills before quoting my post next time. Thanks.

And quite frankly, at this point I am tired of debating a point I know I am right about, so I don't care.

Naming yourself the victor in an argument. The lazy man's special.

My original point stands: Saying the only conclusion you can draw from the efforts of the officials last night is that the NBA has the refs rigging the finals is asinine. The real lack of statistical and anecdotal evidence showing a great advantage in illegitimate calls received by the Heat supports this. Both teams had calls (or a lack thereof) go for and against them. Saying you thought the officiating was bad or slightly slanted would not have drawn such a response from me, but that hyperbole did. I will be here during game 2 so we can debate about the officiating (or, hopefully, the actual game) again then. Have a good one.

As I said before, I'm not the only one who has complained about the poor quality of officiating in game 1. Go watch game 1 again (try it from an unbiased viewpoint this time, maybe, instead of one who has spent much of yesterday defending LBJ in this thread), and you'll see that the calls were horribly slanted in the Heat's favor. I, and others, have pointed out several in particular. The fact that you want to ignore that and simply say that the officiating was fair because the Mavs shot more free throws speaks volumes about your understanding of the game of basketball and your willingness to see anyone's point besides your own biased one.

Your bucket of hate for Lebron clouds everything you watch. If you think officiating won the game for the Heat, you just can't see what's actually happening out there.

Pretty excited for the game tonight, it should be a battle and I do expect the Mavs to shoot a little better and perhaps force the pace a little better for a higher scoring game. Also interested to see how Dirk responds to the finger injury. I like the Heat again because of the HCA.

If the Mavs allow less offensive rebounds they may have a chance against that peice of [Mark May] Lequit.

Dirk shouldn't have said a word about his injured finger. Even if he was asked, he should've blown it off and said it was nothing. He sounded soft and like he was getting his excuses in order for when they lose.

Of course, he can change that by leading his team to a surprising win tonight to even the series. I'm rooting for him, but I still think they're going down in 5 games.

It's almost the end of the 1st Qtr in game two and you can barely tell there's a crowd. Wait Miami just made a basket and they started cheering. Right before that Chandler was shooting FT's and the whole area behind the basket was sitting down from what I could see.

Judging by the pics of the Heat dancers, they are all probably too distracted by the scenery to cheer haha
