Heat-Mavs 2011 NBA Finals

51 all at the half. Great half by Wade. Dallas' O had been great until the last 4 minutes of the half.

Don't forget the depth of the Heat. The Heat's mini-3 really came through in the last several minutes of the first half and reaqlly got Miami back in the game.

It's tough when D-Wade and LeBron are playing well, but it's even more difficult when the mini-3 then give you that late second half push.

The off-ball foul on Terry was weak. The off-ball foul on Chandler was very weak. The equally tough bumps and holds Miami put on Terry on the other end were excellent no calls to keep Miami close going onto the half.

Just excellent play by the mini-3. They've kept a great half by Dallas kept to a minimum and it's actually tied at the half. In fact, they'll probably come out strong for Dallas in the third before making a strong push for Miami in the fourth.

This shit is so predictable it's funny....Tim Donoghey would be proud. Then again, he only recycled what I said after game 1. Dallas got screwed coming dowin the stretch but the officials really evened out calls in the fourth by blowing the whistle in non-critical moments in the fourth.

It's infuriating....the end of the second tonight was absurd. But it's only the second quarter, so who gives a shit, right?

I don't know how you could watch the end of the first half and objectively say the officials weren't trying to close the gap going into half-time.

The biggest issue is, that under-cover screw job normally just keeps a game close going into the third. Against a team like Miami, that Tim Donoghy job allows Miami to claw all the way back.

It's sickening. Seriously. Wake up.....

Heat role players have been pretty good tonight

Not going to argue about the officiating during the game. I'm actually watching to enjoy the game.

I don't even think the personal fouls have been the worst parts of the officiating. Lebron has been called for one travel today, while he has actually traveled at least five times. On a fade-away, deep 2-pointer in the first half, which was a sick shot, Lebron shuffled about ten feet without dribbling. Bosh and Anthony were camped out in the lane last game, and they would not call 3 seconds. The worst non-call on the Heat, though, was Wade not getting a technical for throwing a tantrum and chest bumping Chandler in the process. (Not only did they not call Wade for a tech, they started giving the Heat a lot of calls afterwards). And then the refs T up Carlisle for asking a question. Carlisle is maybe the most even-keeled coach in the NBA. Get outta here.
