Police: Woman going to hospital in labor robbed

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Police say a woman reported to be in labor and her boyfriend were robbed in Annapolis as they headed to a hospital.

The couple was confronted by three men with guns as they left an apartment on Copeland Street early Sunday. When the woman's boyfriend fled, police spokeswoman Cpl. Amy Miguez says, the suspects tried to get the woman to let them into an apartment, but she didn't have a key.

That's when two of the men took off in the woman's car, Miguez says. After a chase, police arrested 24-year-old Devery Kelley of Annapolis and 44-year-old Cornell Robinson of Washington and charged them with robbery and assault.

The woman was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, but a hospital official did not have details about her condition.

I caught a gf "on a date" with another guy once while i was home on leave. I was trying to stay calm until he decided to get involved in the conversation, when i made a move towards him to beat his ass he hid behind the girl. I walked away and couldnt help but wonder how a girl could stay with a "man" that has shown he cant/wont even TRY to protect her.. yet she married that loser so what do i know.

Ya know, when I first saw the headline... i thought, how barbaric and inhumane can you be

Then I read.. this is the dude convicted of "deliberately pouring acid on the face of a girl, Shirin, causing her to lose her eyes and one of her ears: .. so now I'm not so sure how I feel

Honestly I would love to see more eye for an eye punishment here. If that were the case Jerry Sandusky's asshole would be about the size of Joesus' ego by now.

I bet there would be less crime if people knew there were going to lose a hand/eye/ear/etc if they got caught.

I do not condone upskirting. I don't upskirt. However, this ruling is ironic.

It is against the law to upskirt if that person is nude or partially nude. However, if they are clothed, then it is legal to upskirt.

Who would have thought? There is something to be said for going naked in public ... it keeps the upskirters away. Tired of being upskirted? Then just take off your clothes.

It has been awhile since my junior high class in reproductive biology, but I am not sure how to upskirt if someone is not wearing a skirt. In truth, I don't want to know.
