It's hard to win coach of the year when you are supposed to be at the top every year and you finish at the top every year. It's a lot easier to win CotY when you are supposed to be at the bottom and finish at the top. JT is a victim of being too good at his job. It's coaches like JT that get awards named after them when they retire.
