Yes….and despite no sacks, M hit Howard several times very hard in the pocket. Howard was nervous back there and with the bad snap the play was basically dead.

Oh this isn't just on Hartline to win him over, Ryan Day better be doing a lot of convincing too. Not getting the ball in the 4th quarter, is absolutely insane when everyone in the country knows he's one of the top WRs

Disagree. The snaps against Indiana were just as off-rhythm and 'floaty'....

He's snapping like a dude who hasn't done it at game speeds in a year. Which is understandable.

It was inexcusable that they couldn't get the ball to another player that could catch the ball. Rumor has it that Ohio State has the best receivers in the game.

Clemson 2019 Dobbins got hurt that’s why it was close and that’s why we would’ve maybe lost to LSU had we won (no way Dobbins would’ve been ready).

I agree there’s something off with Ryan. He needs to stop saying “we need to get it to the 4th quarter” for example.

My point is his teams are RIGHT THERE vs some of the best teams in the last 5 years. He just needs to get it done. That’s why I think if we can get through the first game as the likely #8 seed and if we play Oregon we can win that game. If we win that damned game then ALL BETS are off.

It's as if he wants a 4 quarter fight. It's bizarre to say the least.

Any decision regarding Day is obviously premature until our season is over.

That said, there is no reason to be afraid of the program impact if we do. Maybe an off year (you know, 7 and 5 with a win over Michigan on the road).

This is OSU and Harbaugh was right. Any coach who comes here starts off on third base. We willl lose players. But we will also have a large NIL account. And we will be OSU. The most stable program of the past 50 years.

But I also believe that OSU has built a positive culture here and that is extremely important. We are bringing in the right kinds of kids. The players did not lose Saturday. It was offensive coaching and - IMO - the pressure the HC put on himself and the players. This is an important game. It is not anyones life. Days job was to make them play loose - not tighten the piano strings.
