HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

They do.

First things first we really need to be #8 and play at home vs a presumed #9 Tennessee. If we get that we will win that game and then we will get Oregon in a rematch. It’s hard to win that game twice guys.

If we somehow get through that then lookout because we have all the confidence we need.

There’s just two major hurdles.

1. Do we get to be at home or not first round.
2. Are we going to just play to our strengths
Nah sorry I flat out don't trust the coaches not to fuck this up.

We only go full retard for TCUN. In post season (provided it counts and not in the cotton bowl) we are aggressive and generally awesome.

Could you guys imagine at home at night vs Tennessee? That’d be an electric game
could our players handle a night game?.... they only played one this year .... maybe they should play these at the time in which the home team usually plays there games... (Thanks Fox for being assholes and always choosing OSU for 'Big NOON Saturday')

We still gave up zero sacks… but at the same time we did nothing to help Will Howard too. Clear out routes take time and time means some pressure will be applied.

Where were the RPOs for fuck sake? When teams run zone you RPO them to death if you can’t hold up long enough to flood them.

There’s ways to attack zone.
TIFWIW: listened to the Scoop. If one believes the info, Day went in last week and became super involved with the offense and changed up the play calling.

If this is true, he needs to stay the F out of the offense. Enough

I agree if that’s true… looks there’s no question Ryan Day has a TCUN problem.

That can be dealt with another day though. This team is still one of the most talented in the country.

Honestly our crowd needs a night game if it’s at home.

Judging myself and the rest of the fans we could’ve done more VS TCUN as well. Listen to the below clip and I can’t say I disagree with him. I don’t blame the fans but there’s no reason why we are so damn terrible to our team during a game.

My god. Posting Deace or Douche or whatever his name is should be bannable offense.

His record after The Game isn’t that much better than his record in The Game.

1-3 in the CFP
1-1 in NY6 Bowls

Generally awesome?

Which makes it baffling on why he keeps hitting his head against the wall.

We would have to believe (hope) that Sunday, Bjork met with Day and it may not have been so pleasant. That the proverbial riot act was read. Sometimes that type of cold towel is the slap one needs.

I would be surprised if Bjork just went about his business.

Keep in mind that we have seen possibly 2 of worst ever offensive performances in the last 11 months - definitely amongst the worst when considering the talent available at nearly all positions. Mostly due to the lack of anybody that can block (OL, TE), partially due to every player deciding to have their worst possible game.

My only hope is that Mile Vrabel was watching the game somewhere and he is now legally bound by some obscure Ohio “Good Samaritan” bystander law to accept the head coaching job and rescue this program.

If it wasn’t OSU, would anyone here question what Bjork’s statement really was?

The GM/AD comes out and gives a vote of confidence to an embattled coach who just had a bad loss. It’s a kissof death and we’ve all seen it 100 times in other places.

Day has one more loss in him and he’s only going to be saved by his buy out.

Make sure they put this on the statue they are building for Gene fucking Smith.

No not generally awesome.

Can we all agree we were fucked over in 2019 though? We were a missed FG away from beating UGA too. Let’s not forget last year when the OL was different, no QB and no Marv.

Yep he tends to lose close games. This time though there’s no 2019 Clemson, 2020 Alabama and for sure no 2022 UGA.

We all know in these games under day we at least perform well. We have been right there vs these great teams. We just need to finish and that’s the big question right? Can we do it?

If it means shitting on TCUN? I think we can.

You're missing the point why those games were close in the first place. We should've boat raced that 2019 Clemson team but kept choking inside the redzone and played tighter as the game wore on. Same with Oregon both years and Penn State every year. He just hopes to stay close in big games so he isn't embarrassed, even when he clearly has an advantage in talent/match-ups to win decisively. He's mentally broken. It's like watching Ben Simmons play basketball now. He's petrified of the moment

This is what I fear. Alabama shell shocked him and then scUM.

I love JK Dobbins and he was a baller for us, but he dropped two easy TDs and got caught from behind by a SLOW safety that game. Was the difference between 28-0 and 16-0.
