HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

You're missing the point why those games were close in the first place. We should've boat raced that 2019 Clemson team but kept choking inside the redzone and played tighter as the game wore on. Same with Oregon both years and Penn State every year. He just hopes to stay close in big games so he isn't embarrassed, even when he clearly has an advantage in talent/match-ups to win decisively. He's mentally broken. It's like watching Ben Simmons play basketball now. He's petrified of the moment
Clemson 2019 Dobbins got hurt that’s why it was close and that’s why we would’ve maybe lost to LSU had we won (no way Dobbins would’ve been ready).

I agree there’s something off with Ryan. He needs to stop saying “we need to get it to the 4th quarter” for example.

My point is his teams are RIGHT THERE vs some of the best teams in the last 5 years. He just needs to get it done. That’s why I think if we can get through the first game as the likely #8 seed and if we play Oregon we can win that game. If we win that damned game then ALL BETS are off.

Dobbins was the whole reason we were in that game lol… not to make this about that game though.

No doubt, him getting injured totally hampered the game plan. Still though, both of those drops were gimmes, need your horses to run in games like that.

You're right though, things are shit enough at the moment, no need to bring up more brutal memories.

I just think we all need to stop. Believe it not I agree with Steve Deace today who’s actually pretty reasonable (outside of the scandal).

He thanked buckeye fans for turning on the team mid game. I doubt he’s wrong too. He mentioned how the fans booed the team and how we were nervous once we missed the field goal and he’s fucking right.

Maybe we win that game if we stopped being fucking spoiled assholes and cheered the team. Brought them to life. Willed them to a win.

Sometimes we shouldn’t wait for a reason to cheer.

And I for one am done with this negative shit.

I think we have a top 3 team and I know we are better than that last game.

The "we need to get it to the fourth quarter" is a loser's instinct. Where's the confidence? Where's the killer instinct? That's cowardly bullshit and lousy leadership.
He says that vs Akron lol… like bro come on just don’t say that and go out and take care of business.

IMO Ryan Day needs to just go radio silent. Seriously stop talking and stop saying these things

He can stop talking, but he still thinks/coaches that way and that's a HUGE problem.
You’re right… my hope is we can hold it the fuck together with the best team in the country for 4 games.

Eddy O won a natty and didn’t fuck it up. Gus won at Auburn.

Shittier coaches have won.

It’s honestly not likely but something tells me we have our best football ahead. We haven’t played a complete game and we all know that.

I don’t believe the fans turned on the team. Unless, you’re using team in the royal sense. Yes, it’s been painfully stated and restated how bad the play calling was. The fans were booing that not the players who were trying to execute the stupidity.

3. We now have three weeks to get our OL rested and on the same page. We have now had 4 different starting OL combinations. No shit we couldn’t handle the best DL we’ll play all year. Which leads me to..

@Mike80 mentioned giving Padilla a chance at center. With the lead up I'd rather see this and move Hinzman back to guard where he appears to play much more naturally.

They're not winning anything with the current OL. Don't blame the guys, they're in a tough spot, but the center and the left side are a liability. At least moving Hinzman backs eliminates one issue.

Hinsman didn’t snap bad against Indy..but Grant and Mason had him rattled.

I agree and I’d honestly bench Tegra
