HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

Urban as HC and Day as Oc/QB coach. The best of all worlds. Day has too much going on now. I remember Urban getting involved with the D and bringing Zac Boren with him. Day needs to visit the D room once and a while.
He doesn't. Day getting too involved in the D is how we got he wanted everyone to run single high cause that's the D that gave him the most trouble.

He realized after Coombs he needs to step back. Hire the Best D coordinator he could and not meddle

This!
He hired Knowles to be the coach of the defense because that’s his specialty and Day specializes in offense.

I will never understand how fans can get nostalgic over past HCs, and over look all of their short comings when they were in Cbus. Urban meddled so much that he hired every drinking buddy he had and put them on the pay roll and they cost OSU at least 2 NCs(possibly 3).
