HB Dontre 'DeSoto' Wilson (Official Thread)

Reminds me of a taller DeAnthony Thomas. Might not get up to speed quite as quick, but has the high-end speed that kills. You see him kill defender's angles and against great competition at that. I can see why UFM had Mr. Wilson so high up on his board. If he puts in the work, he will be special. What I really like is that he has a fairly distinct skill set from Marshall, so I could see the combo being utilized in many different ways. I think Dontre could easily be used at RB with his ability (when he isn't playing Pivot) to give fresh legs for Elliott, which allows us to focus in on one elite RB for 2014 and only take one.

Agreed. Check the very first highlight...the defender from the top of the screen looks like he's actually closing on Wilson near the end of the run. Maybe Wilson was letting up around the 10-yard line, but I doubt it...

There is a huge difference running on a track with shorts and running on the field with pads. Not saying Clark wouldn't win, but you'd be surprised.
