I wonder if the PAC-12 would revisit trying to get 2 to 4 of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Houston, and Kansas. I don't think they'd try to get Texas at this point, and BYU isn't a cultural fit.

How far we have come.....this from 2006 and talks about the first year of replay in the SEC. About half the games had a stoppage for at least one review and a very low percentage were overturned....but yet during the game on Saturday four plays were reviewed and four were overturned. What has changed in a dozen plus years?

Of the 77 games involving an SEC game, 40 had at least one stoppage for review. (Keep in mind all plays are reviewed but only those that can't be decided in 10-12 seconds are stopped for review). Of the 66 plays stopped for review, 17 were overturned. In Goode's crew, only one play was reversed in 12 games.
Thus, of more than 11,500 plays involving SEC teams, only 17 calls were altered.

I also read somewhere that he was a UT alum and played for the Vols in a couple of sports. don't know which one is true but I also read what you are reporting.....

3, they correctly switched Wilson's catch inside the 10-yard line in the first quarter, when his hand was the first thing to hit the ground. The problem with that one was they took way too long to initiate it, killing momentum and letting Venables see the next play that was called, Dobbins running left. The second one correctly took away the TD when Dobbins lost the ball as he landed in the end zone. The last two I think everybody remembers.

I don't know if it's the right thread, but it's a hell of an idea. ESPiN can't be too happy about Fox being in Col's and Ann Arbor in back to back weeks. Serves them right, Hope Urban becomes the Johnny Carson of sportscasters. He's almost there now. O-H, Coach! :urban2: :dougie:

Many times I've said that Delaney got played when the playoff was put together, but in hindsight, I take that back. He got everything he wanted: protection of the Rose Bowl and continued PAC/B1G ties to it and to a lesser extent protection of the bowl system overall. And in the service of those goals, he was ready and willing to throw the Big Ten schools under the bus as well as take any potential economic impact for the Great Lakes from hosting playoff games off the table. Can't wait until he's gone.

He threw tOSU under the bus we are the only Big 10 team capable of scoring in the CFP, much less winning.

Ohio State is the biggest brand in college sports. Their ratings do numbers. LSU/OSU would have been the most watched game in CFP history.

Bucks will be set up to be back in the thing over the next 3-5 years. Have to play well to beat 2 good teams, no matter what. Maybe they do one year. Definitely aren’t sitting it out.

Especially because the numbers were WAY down last year. Not to mention the city of NOLA got completely screwed with the tourist $$. Oh well.
