Huh?
How'd you guys make the playoff (and all the spoils that come with it), get that sweet, sweet B1G network money, have two guys at the Heisman ceremony (merch sales $$$) and make the NCAA tourney in hoops and lose money?
In the article:

In its filing with the governing body for college sports, the school showed $210.5 million in total revenues and $220.6 million in operating expenses for the 2019 fiscal year, which runs July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.

And later in the article:

Citing an internal management report, school administrators said the 2019 deficit sat at only $624,359, with $210.3 million in total revenues and $210.9 million in expenses.

Soooo... what’s really the story that what was reported wasn’t actually reported correctly? Or maybe a better accounting policy needs to be in place? Just weird that the basis of the article ($10 million in the red) is refuted to be $600k a few paragraphs later.

36 Scholarship sports with 2 maybe 3 in the positive will eat through some coin pretty quick... either way these are not for profit institutions so they are at least trying to live up to that.

They can spin it any way they want, but we shouldn't be anywhere close to losing money with our revenues. And the solution to this is not to take some fencer's scholarship away. It's to de-ass their heads and realize that even Ohio State has to budget properly.

Eh, it represents less than 0.3% of the budget.
They successfully broke even... I'd consider that Mission Accomplished for a nonprofit.
