Here's my prediction.....pain.

Come UTMNC, this is getting f'n ridiculous. You come on here a post some stupid crap, then there are three pages of responses, and it takes forever to read through them to find an actual on-topic post that discusses the game. You have every right to be optimistic about UT's chances this year, but now you appear to just be stirring the pot because you got mad that someone told you to shove your homerism where the sun doesn't shine. Wake up, this is a tOSU board, if you post like that they have every right to jump down your throat. I for one am of the opinion that if you want to keep posting this crap, go post it on hornfans.com or some other UT board and celebrate in the basking glory of the Rose Bowl victory and think that nothing will challenge this team, Vince or no Vince, but if you want to be realistic and not get pissed off when people on an Ohio State board call you on your overly optimistic posts, then post on here with some meaningful opinions based on an observation, or a realistic situation that leads you to formulate your opinion . I will defend and support your posts that are realistic, but please quit wasting my time, I enjoy this thread, but can't keep up when there are so many responses ridiculing your posts.

My prediction is that these two teams are way too talented and way too strong on both sides of the ball to experience a blowout after two quarters. And the last thing a coach wants to do is to recreate any type of QB controversy. Only one team looks like it might be in the position to change QBs, and that is because UT does not have a clearcut starter.

Besides which, you made mention of more than 3 things that others take difference with. And, to top it off, those other 'Horn guests you wanted to correct or modify your enthusiastic excess, guess what, they already did their job.

Ohio State has the best WR corps in the nation. DOn't bother trying to prove otherwise, for I'll come up with something like how Troy Smith is a mobile QB, or how their numbers would have been higher if Pittman wasn't a 1400 yard back. Like I said, OSU = best WR in the nation, and you can't prove otherwise.

Ginn has more yards than Pittman. And Ill say Ginn is a bigger threat Im reasonably sure the so called pundits will agree with that opinion as well.

Sweed and Gonzales stats are fairly comprible although Sweeds numbers are slightly better.

Beyond all of that, you made the statement that Texas had the best, THEY DONT.

Ill tell you another thing, were Garrett Wolfe on the Texas roster, Charles wouldnt be the first guy in the game. Wolfes numbers are flat out sick.

gotta be honest with ya homer, outside of Sweed and Pittman, nobody has ever heard of your WRs......and neither of those guys are as good as Jarrett or Smith if you combine them.

For a more intellectual response, what we "had to offer" on Sep 3, 2005 wasn't near what we had to offer at the end of the year. What we'll have to offer on Sep 9, 2006 will be be vastly different from what we "had to offer" 364 days prior, at least on offense.

This post actually made me remember the sound of the Texas band playing in the 'Shoe that night.
