Game Thread Game Two: #1 Ohio State 24, #2 Texas 7 (9/9/06)

Didn't Tressel and asst coaches have a month to prepare for the ND? That works both ways.

And there are too many variables for the transitive property to work in a foot race down the sideline, let alone an entire football game.

Agreed

I was trying to get through to him that OSU is arguably going to have one of the nations best offenses out of the gate in 2006.

Honestly, if Texas had Young returning, I wouldnt give us much of a chance of winning this game. I think he makes that big a difference.

EH, the "month to prepare" thing is a running joke around here...That's all we heard in the run up to the Fiesta Bowl...At least the Texas fans seem to understand that works both ways. EH, would you mind telling that to the ND fans and the sports media...

EDIT: too late

Whoa there. Charles is a better running back than Wolfe. A much better running back. He will test tOSU's run d in this game. Wolfe will get smothered.
Agreed.

The Texas O-Line is worlds better than NIUs, and NIU only returns 1 starter on the line too. NIU loses their #1 and #2 WRs, 4 of their starting 5 OL, and their 2nd and 3rd RBs. They'll come into the Shoe one-dimensional and inexperienced.

Texas has better, more experienced talent running a better offense that has been churning out 1500-yard RBs and Heisman contenders for a straight decade.

Show me who as a "GROUP", has a better recieving corp than the players I listed from UT, not just a team that has two good wideouts. I would think tOSU of all teams would agree with that just by what Pittman, Sweed alone did to you.

Ehorn - it's a bit of a joke, re: "Weis having over a month to prepare" as to why ND was supposed to chew up and spit out OSU.

My mistake. I should be a more sensitive to that joke since that's all UT fans heard about Carroll. The media really sold Tressel (and Mack) short by saying that over and over again.

I see. Yeah, I can't argue that. And anyone who does wasn't paying attention to OSU's last few games.

I don't know of anyone who dosen't think tOSU offense will be very good. As I mentioned in a previous post, tOSU will have a number of wins by a big margin, the 2nd game of the year in Austin just won't be one of them.

How could it possibly take an entire month to prepare for ND's Defense?
If JT had thought about all the things his Offense could do for more than on hour, he would have died from the resulting gigantic erection!
