g-force has been much better than utmnc and xray. We don't need a second thread to discuss his comments.

He was referring to our former great players, as he said in the thread.t_BuckeyeScott said:Just so we have comparative reference here.
Personally I enjoy these people. Its funny stuff. I also enjoyed xray but he hasn't sniffed around in awhile either.
I don't think I would be in the minority saying last years USC offense was one of the BEST offenses in the history of college football, USC would have done the same thing to tOSU defense. I don't see any smack being thrown around here. What I do detect is whenever a Texas fan makes a argument about the breakdown of position by position, if we, In our opinion feel a UT player is better, has a edge, whatever you want to call it, and list at least some facts, we are called morons and the like. Example: IMO, Ted Ginn lost much credibility from HEISMAN VOTERS after last years game. IMO, that is just plain cold facts. Is that smack talk, IMO NO.
xray and you are the only regulars who have become notorious (there was one other, but I forget his handle). OTOH, there are a number of UT fans who have a lot of earned respect on this board, and not b/c of their viewpoint, but b/c of how they back it up.What I do detect is whenever a Texas fan makes a argument about the breakdown of position by position, if we, In our opinion feel a UT player is better, has a edge, whatever you want to call it, and list at least some facts, we are called morons and the like.
In 2002, Carson Palmer was hardly being mentioned as a Heisman candidate by anybody after 6 games of the season. He went nuts in the second half, lit up Notre Ame on national TV, and won the award.
This was an exception to the norm, but shows that it's possible.
Here's a link to a midseason Heisman discussion in 2002 which doesn't even mention Palmer's name:

Again, please show me of the 3 things I mentioned where your disagreement is. If Im wrong or delusional I believe there are enough RATIONAL horn fans on this forum that truely know the makeup of our team and can correct me.
"Tucking the ball on the one play" wasn't his problem.Other than not tucking the ball on the one play he stood up pretty well.
Here's my prediction, Justin Zwick plays from the third qtr on, and it's not due to a Smith injury.
"Tucking the ball on the one play" wasn't his problem.
He'd probably have fared much better if he wasn't being punched in the jewels while having his head gear ripped off.
And now...
Back to Texas.
Notre Dame had over a month to prepare for the OSU offense.
Texas could have the best group of receivers ever assembled, but what good is that when the QBs have 0 snaps of starting experience? And in no way shape or form do I buy that Texas has the best group of recievers. Not even close.
Whoa there. Charles is a better running back than Wolfe. A much better running back. He will test tOSU's run d in this game. Wolfe will get smothered.A I do not agree that Texas has the best oline in the nation. You dont lose guys drafted into the NFL and get better. If you cant grasp that, then dont bother replying.
B You do not have the best running backs in the country. Heck the guy OSU has to face the week before is better than Charles. I mean heck Wolfe is only the nations leading returning rusher who only finished second in the nation in rushing while missing 3 games from last season.
And in no way shape or form do I buy that Texas has the best group of recievers. Not even close.
